Can Verichip find
kidnapped children ( or anyone ) ? No. Not at all.
The internal VeriChip has no transmitter to work with the GPS Global Satellelites.
It can locate no one.
What about PDL s?
Externally-worn transmitters do work with the GPS global satellite system, yet the PDL
( personal location device) would be the very first thing that kidnappers would remove from the person. That would make the PDL totally useless in a kidnapping situation.
What does help ? Prayer. Calling upon God is the strongest force of help in times of kidnapping. In Psalm 91, God tells us of His great protection for us.
He keeps us from all harm because of our love for Him.
Have you raised your children in the fear ( reverence) of God, and in the love of
Jesus Christ ? Then Psalm 91 is speaking to you.
The only thing that technology does is to track a person in a controlled environment.
The more a person feels controlled, the more that person resents the yoke around his life.
VeriKid....VeriChip promotion for children
Definition: VeriKid(TM) program to provide an emergency identification component to the overall child safeguard effort
A program to promote VeriKid safeguard solutions in schools;
A community-based control and security program involving supermarkets, airports, bus stations and other entities that would connect with the VeriKid program;
A fundraising program to generate financial support for the National Foundation's various projects to safeguard children in Mexico. It is also expected that Solusat will contribute a certain percentage of VeriKid sales in Mexico to the Foundation.
Definition of SOLUSAT MEDICA
is a database
containing medical information pertaining to VERICHIP users,
which can be accessed via the Internet.
Associated hospitals and emergency services will have access to
this information for consultation purposes, while users can
consult and update their data via the Internet or by calling the
customer service departments toll-free number. To guarantee
the confidentiality of this information associates and users will
be furnished with a user name and password that affords them
access to the database.
1. National Foundation is a citizen-assisted monitoring entity. (from what I perceive)
2. What VeriChip can not do. VeriChip can NOT locate children. It is NOT satellite-compatible (GPS).
VeriChip can ONLY identify a person by their unique number within the subdermal microchip (implanted under the skin), and ONLY when that chip is passed-over by a proprietery scanner. Verichip has a Receiver that is energized when scanned. Its' capacitor holds only enough response energy.
3. An external device known as a PLD --Personal Location Device-- IS satellite-enabled, and works with GPS for location. It is externally worn, and can easily be removed. It has a transmitter.
VeriChip does not have a transmitter. VeriChip has a PASSIVE RFid chip and must be energized , or activated, by the scanner.
Big Brother or Mark of the Beast ?
When a chipped child is abducted or missing, authorities place scanners in areas where the child might turn up such as shopping malls, bus stations, airports and other areas. If the child goes by the scanner, the chip triggers the scanner and alerts authorities to the location.
Brazil : VeriKid(TM), VeriGuard(TM),
And Other Security and Emergency Identification Applications
In addition to the first VeriGuard orders, the Company announced today that its distributor for Brazil, Metro Risk Management Group LLC (MRMG), has ordered 2,100 additional VeriChips and 130 proprietary, handheld VeriChip scanners. As part of the VeriChip product launch in Brazil, MRMG also plans to introduce a VeriKid(TM) emergency identification program similar to the child-safeguard program recently announced in Mexcio.

Editor's note: VeriKid is a program targeting the youth to receive the VeriChip. It is already in Mexico and will be in Brazil.
It has been observed that this chip is being targeted to the Latin American countries first.

KinderGuard--- combining GPS with Galileo
The KinderGUARD system will allow parents to track the movements of their children in real-time on the Internet. The device not only uses tracking technology to indicate the location of the wearer, it also monitors biometrics. An alarm is raised if the child leaves the area in which he or she is expected to be, if the biometric sensor indicates that the child may be in distress, or if an unauthorised person puts on the device.
Interest in the technology is not restricted entirely to the use of KinderGUARD as a child safety device. Other potential applications include national security, controlled access to key facilities (such as airports, container ports and government buildings) and access to financial services.
The personal location-based services (LBS) industry is expected to be worth EUR7.3 billion in Europe by 2005 and more than EUR5.7 billion in the US.
VeriKid: Mexico's Verichip program for children
Applied Digital Solutions, Inc., an advanced technology development company, announced today that Solusat, the Company's exclusive distributor of VeriChip(TM) products and services in Mexico, has signed a cooperation agreement with Mexico's National Foundation for the Investigation of Lost and Kidnapped Children (Fundacion Nacional de Investigaciones de Ninos Robados y Desaparecidos).
As part of this initiative, Solusat is launching a new VeriKid(TM) program to provide an emergency identification component to the overall child safeguard effort in Mexico.
It is expected that the VeriKid application will soon become available in other countries, including the United States, after its introduction in Mexico.

"The laws of Radio Frequency physics are actually quite simple, proven and unalterable (at least in our universe).
They involve wave length, frequency, amplitude, power, signal to noise ratios, etc.
You cannot generate any of the above sufficiently in an implantable "grain of rice" size device to work over but a very few feet."

There are distinct projects on the table, but one form of finding (children) is by putting scanners in strategic locations where a search is being conducted for a VeriKid that has been reported missing," said Carlos Altamirano, Solusat's associate general director.
The company envisions placing walk-through scanners -- similar to metal-detector portals used in airports -- in malls, bus stations and other areas where a missing child may appear. The chip also could be used to identify children who are found unconscious, drugged, dead or too young to identify themselves.
Critics said kidnappers could circumvent the device easily.
"My big concern is that kidnappers will simply use 'high-tech' tools like knives to get rid of them," said Lauren Weinstein, creator of the Privacy Forum, an online digest related to privacy and technology issues.
