WHEN the RIGHT Becomes Wrong

Is the Church Israel ? No. Is the Church to bring in an earthly kingdom ? No.
Can morality be enforced ? No.
Does government dictate morality and dogma? Yes it does ; but it does this against the will of God.

The Bible clearly teaches the separation of Church and State. God provided the Aaronic ( Levitical ) line for priesthood and He prepared the Judaic line for governance ( the line of Royalty ). The two tribes were, are and always will be ...separate.

On one special occasion, God gave the governance to Moses as a Lawgiver and not as a king, The priesthood was given to Aaron.
2 Chronicles 26:18 tells how King Uzziah contracted leprosy when he usurped religious authority unto himself, even though he was king. Uzziah had tried to combine the office of a religious leader with the office of a civil leader. No can do.

1 Samuel 13, Saul lost the kingdom of Israel when he usurped Samuel's religious authority. Over and over again, the Scriptures make clear that religion and governance do not mix.

Did God want a State-Religion? No.

In the Last days a world leader will implement global policies for Defense and Security and his promoter will seek religious governance, though he is a civil politician.

In the following paragraphs we will show how aligning religion with any political agenda--
is the "doctrine of Jezebel", strictly forbidden by God.

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.

For I know this, that after my departing shall
grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

"Also of your own selves
shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore WATCH !"

RECONSTRUCTIONISTS.....governance in the name of God, while usurping Him
Man has always wanted to legislate with the force of God. That is sacrilege.

Dave Hunt: Revival or Apostasy ? from the Berean Call

Are the American faiths seeking political power? An Unholy Alliance?
We believe so. There is a religious-political-corporation mix of 500 members who have a political agenda and meet in secret. They are called
"The Council for National Policy" (CNP)
Let us pray for these people that their eyes be opened to the Truth.

Is this Mystery Babylon of
Revelation 17?

"They went out from us, but they were not of us;
for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us:
but they went out,
that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us." 1 John 2:19

Are these people endorsing government mixed with religion? ...as long as it's THEIR
belief system? Isn't that Machiavellian?
Shouldn't all Christians ABHOR the collusion of State and Faith, regardless ?
Are we people of principle, or pragmatism??

Reconstructionists / Dominion Theology / theonomy / reconstructionism
Chalcedon Foundation / Rushdoony / Gary North

Do reconstructionists read the Bible? Do they take it seriously?

Reconstructionists do not believe in Jesus' 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom. They feel they do not need Jesus' government.
They feel that they can do it themselves through
the Old Testament Law   ( theonomy ) arbitrarily applied. Woe. Woe. Woe.

Reconstructionists have been called "messianic socialists"    political-religious activists. Would this not be the whore of Rev. 17 ?
Dangerous stuff     Please see
Matthew Chapter 10 " I send you forth as sheep among wolves"

Here is what Reconstructionists believe: (scroll to their beliefs...doctrines)

Here is what Dominion Theology is all about.

Wait till you read this one....
Coalition on Revival (COR) Mountain View, California

"COR's goals do not exclude violence in accomplishing them. At a 1989 COR conference, one well known evangelist suggested that Christians should pray that God would kill all of those leaders who are opposing Dominion Theology. Then later in the week, another well known pastor from the Dallas area suggested that God is purging his church and purifying it for a great revival, and that believers need to be willing to use violence if necessary in order to help bring in the kingdom. This violence message is really scary. The call to be willing to use violence to bring the kingdom can't be more clear--even if that violence is directed against Christian brothers and sisters. "

Our Lord was turned over to the civil authorities by the religious right to be put to death in the cruelest form.
This is the same religious right that Our Lord condemned as hypocritical in Matthew 23.
Pilate knew exactly why the religious right had turned Jesus over to him to be crucified. It was because of envy. The religious right had a kingdom here on earth that certainly didn't need a dying Savior.

Jesus is the real thing...a real and true King of a real and true kingdom. This threatens all earthly man-made kingdoms, including the political-religious kingdom--- which is actually a system of control over the people ( Nicolaitans ). The religious right didn't want or need Jesus back then, and today the religious right wants no contender to their throne.

Look at the scenario today. Today we are on the verge of Jesus Christ's earthly return to
establish His kingdom here on earth in a few very short years.
The political-religious right wants to bring in their own dogmatic-kingdom. They want power and control. They falsify the Scriptures in order to make a place for themselves. They deceive the flock by telling them that a great revival of reformation is coming here to America...."take America back" they claim, as if God has any more patience with our chicanery. "Do exploits" for the kingdom they say, meaning political-exploits, and not the spiritual ones Daniel was talking about in Daniel 11.

They speak of changing the world ( "peace, peace" ) when utter destruction and judgement is soon to befall us, as men wax worse and worse.
2 Timothy 3.
America is ripe for judgement...long overdue for judgement. And where are our "watchmen" when we need them? They're crying...."connect with the government, everything is OK, a new day is dawning. Righteousness is returning. "

This is in clear opposition to Daniel 9 which says Christ alone will bring in Righteousness.Daniel 9:24. His righteousness has no political strings attached.

How very much the religious right , in Laodicean compromise with politics, needs our prayers. They are asleep.
Isaiah 56:10

In two of the last letters of Christ to His Church , He refers to the persecution of His followers by those "who say they are Jews, but are not". He says this to the martyred Smyrna Church
(Rev. 2:9) and also to the Messianic Philadelphian Church of Rev. 3:9.

Because Reconstructionists believe in forcing the Old Testament Mosaic Law (theonomy) upon all peoples, and because they hold no Jewish membership, then most likely they are the group referred to in the above mentioned passages.

Reconstruction theonomy...."who say they are Jews, but are not" Rev. 2:9 and 3:9

What is "blood lust?" ?
"I'm always surprised by the vehemence of feeling (among death penalty defenders)," she said. "It's kind of a blood lust - an Old Testament thing."

Because Reconstructionists usurp the promises of Israel to themselves, (Replacement Theology) that makes them basically anti-Semitic. They perceive Israel as having lost those promises.
Romans 9--11 state the opposite.... that Israel has not lost her promises or inheritance. When Our Lord returns, He will establish His throne of David in Jerusalem, Israel. One cannot read the Book of Revelations without noting the obvious fact that the Jewish people were and always will be, the Chosen people.

The following Scripture verses disprove Dominion theology:

Are our ministers teaching "revival"?...that we are to do "great exploits" in the political kingdom? That is perverting Scripture. God's kingdom is not of this world. His messianic reign will not begin until we see Jesus of Nazareth split the Mt. of Olives in two. (
Zechariah 14). All our exploits are spiritual...not political.

No REVIVAL in the Last Days....Tozer

The only true Gospel of the Last days will be given by the JEWISH 144,000.

Restoration (reconstruction) and New Age philosophy (Good read)

Antonimists.....means "against the law". Reconstructionists who want to prosecute everyone according to the Mosaic Law (theonomy), are actually against the Law themselves.
For if one offends in one part of the Law, he is guilty of breaking the law. We all have sinned
(1 John 1) and fallen short. The Law condemns us all. Galatians 3 and 4.

If the self-righteous Reconstructionists condemn others due to the Law, then they must also condemn themselves, for all offend. Since they do not condemn themselves, they are against the law...antonimists. Therefore Reconstructionists do NOT obey the Law themselves.
In the name of the law, they are lawless.

"the letter (of the law) killeth, but the spirit giveth life" 2 Corinthians 3:6

The Mosaic Law was given as a foundation for society. Since morality was being taught for the first time, strict consequences had to be laid down so that respect for the law would be sufficient to deter immorality.

The Law was
never applied arbitrarily. Moses and the 70 judges (Sanhedrin) had to weigh each case and judge the penalty. They could commute the sentence based on the testimony of two witnesses. Wisdom and discernment had to enter into each deliberation. There were no automatic stonings or killings. There were no delusions of grandeur for passing death sentences onto others .There were no obsessions for power. (unless one was bribed)

During the time of Samuel and the Judges, a circuit-court was established in order to hear trials fairly. Cities of refuge, that were established under the Mosaic Law, were being sought for mercy. One had to leave one's familar surroundings, because of "blood lust". Again justice was not arbitrary. It was tempered with Cities of Refuge...habitations of mercy.

By the time of the prophets, God's message was that He preferred rehabilitation more than retribution.
Isaiah: "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made white as snow". Isaiah 1:18.
Jeremiah 3 "Return, thou backsliding...for I am merciful"

We are to have true contrition "Break up the fallow ground" ...wash thine heart from wickedness" Jeremiah 4
."if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doing" Jeremiah 7;

"return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good" Jeremiah 11;
 "they shall return unto Me with their whole heart" Jeremiah  24;

"I will make a new covenant with the House of Israel. ...(no more Mosaic Law)
"I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts
(conscience touched by the spirit of the law, by the Holy Spirit)
"I will forgive their iniquity and remember their sin no more Jeremiah 31:31--34

Ezekiel: 36:26,27 " A new heart also will I give you,  and a new spirit will I put within you.....
and I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes"

Please see: Ezekiel Chapter 3:18-21   and Ezekiel Chapter 18:19-32   and Ezekiel Chapter 33:1-20
These passages speak of amending one's ways...of the past being forgiven.
For those who remain hardened and unregenerate, they will die.

The Sin against the Holy Ghost

To become hardened in sin with no repentance, remorse or conscience is to sin against the Holy Ghost. The conscience has become unreachable. One can no longer respond to the still small voice within....the voice of the Holy Spirit, the conscience.
When one sins against the Holy Ghost, by being unconscionable, that one has left no room for pardon.

When our juries sentence people to death in a fair trial, are they sentencing them out of vengeance and retribution, or to make an example ? Or are they sentencing them because the convicted person shows no signs of responding to correctional measures? Are they non-rehabilitatable ? If they evidence no willingness to change, the death penalty is justified.

If there is no hope for a changed lifestyle---as evidenced by reliable witnesses--then the death penalty applies. Why would one continue living, if one is unreachable by even his own conscience ? But that is the only time the death penalty applies.

The death penalty is not meted out by the severity of the crime, but by the attitude and behavior of the convicted person. Moses, David and Paul the Apostle were all guilty of murder. David was especially devious in this sin. Yet all were forgiven by God, because all of them wanted and preferred a life of righteousness in communion with the Living God. Please read Psalm 51 and then see Psalm 32, They were totally rehabilitated and went on to live lives of commendation.
This was under "theonomy"...Old Testament Law.

Forgiveness, mercy and rehabilitation run all through out the Old Testament.
Even Adam and Eve who committed the Original Sin (and thereby all of humanity fell under the curse) were forgiven their transgression and began a life of rehabilitation.

Cain, who not only killed Abel, but the thousands of offspring from his line (a veritable genocide) was forgiven and told to start over again in a different place. Why in a different place ? Because God was willing to give Cain a second chance, based on the fact that Cain could still respond to the heavenly voice. Man does not like to give man a second chance. Man is prone to "blood lust", unless he himself listens to the voice of reason and of the Holy Ghost. Cain could no longer stay among his acquaintances.

We do not know what ever became of Cain. If he continued to live a life of sin, it would eventually catch up with him and he would die in his sins.
"sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." John 5:14

Just as the Old Testament does not put forth an arbitrary justice of an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth, or a life for a life...so also the New Testament does not put forth unconditional love and forgiveness.
We are meant to be discerning: "Bring forth therefore fruits of repentance."
Luke 3:8

The law of forgiveness applied to those , having fallen, who went on to have the law of God written in their hearts...who became willfully obedient to the voice of God within. Forgiveness applies to those who amend ( change ) their ways by the grace of God.

To openly forgive the faults of others when no true contrition and change takes place is to beg the offense to be repeated again.
When Our Lord said we are to forgive 70 x 7 (Matthew 18:22), He was referring to cases of genuine repentance....not to a carte-blanche of repetitious injuries.
Forgiveness means not to carry a grudge and to pray in secret for the offender to repent. Forgiveness does not necessarily means fellowship. We must practice discernment at all times.
Our Lord was also referring here to judical-clemency, since 70 is the number of the Sanhedrin judges. Judges, lawyers, jurors, governors etc. were to take into consideration the genuine repentance of the offender. That's 70 x 7.

The New Testament
never teaches unconditional love. Nothing in life is without conditions.
Try remaining in your dwelling place without paying the rent (or taxes). You can't. That's the condition.
Try getting paid at work without working. You can't. That's the condition.
Try eating without buying groceries. You can't. That's the condition.
Try having a friendship without being friendly. You can't. That's the condition.
Try having a marriage without respect. You can't . That's the condition.
Try having a relationship with God when you don't really care. You can't.
That's the condition.

God cared. He proved it 2016+ years ago.
Now it's up to each one of us to prove it really mattered.

If you own a Concordance, see how many times the word " if " is in the Bible. "If" means there are conditions.

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord:
I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people."
Hebrews 8:10--13

All who seek Godliness will find Godliness, justice, truth, mercy and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
" For Christ is the end of the law." Romans 10:4

In conclusion: the concept of applying arbitrary theonomy is wrong...all wrong. It is to falsify the teachings of the Old Testament and to present God as cold and arbitrary...looking for any chance to kill off His creation.

The opposite is true: God is not willing that ANY should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Supreme Court poised for hard turn to the Right Jan. 8-2001
State rights being overruled by Federal Court
The outcome of the disabilities case from Alabama, which renews the bitter dispute within the court over states' rights, will affect the job rights of at least 5 million state employees nationwide.

Since 1995, the court, in a series of 5-4 decisions, has shielded states from federal laws, including some civil rights laws, and has said that states are protected by their ``sovereign immunity.'' The four liberal-leaning justices -- John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer -- have strongly dissented in each instance and have contended that the conservatives have invented doctrine that is not found in the U.S. Constitution.

Evangelism vs. evangelization

The Jewish people too have a group who believe solely in the Mosaic Law  ( the 613 laws).
They are called "Judaizers". The
Book of Galatians warns us against legalism.

When you combine the erroneous philosophy of Reconstructionist with that of Judaizers you get the exact same radicalism of the militant Islamics and their Sharia Law.
Who is the main target of all these groups?
Bible-believing Christians applying the whole law found in the person of Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:4 "for Christ (Jesus) is the end of the law "

Here are some of the New Testament laws of Jesus Christ:
John 8: 11...."Go and sin no more (rehabilitation rather than vengeance)
John 18:20..."nothing in secret"...no closed-door policy makers (CNP)
John 18:36.."My kingdom is not of this world"...don't mix politics with religion

Mixing State with Religious Enforcement

Civil Law and Religious Law are not the same....
False Teahing:
"Because we believe that the state is an inherently religious institution, and because we believe that a Christian state should enforce the law of God appropriate to the civil sphere" --quote from Andrew Sandlin.

This is false because the State is inherently a civil institution, not religious. When you have State acting with religious fervor, you have abuse of power.
Statism cannot dictate to the consciences of people without the leading of the Holy Ghost. All State Religions become  violent tyranny.

God separated civil law from religious law in the Old Testament.
Moses was the Law-giver (civil). He and the 70 elders judged civil matters.
See the
Book of Exodus.
Aaron and the Levitical priesthood had their own separate set of rules for the congregation. See the
Book of Leviticus.
God ordained two men for two different distinct purposes.
They were not to "network" and combine their purposes.

Whenever a king tried to mix the religious with the civil, it was severely punished.
Saul "played the fool" and died in disgrace. It was Saul who tried to usurp Samuel's role. See
1 Samuel 13: 8--14. also 1 Samuel 15.

But God preferred obedience...obedience to the two distinct and separate set of laws in society....civil and religious.

King Uzziah tried to usurp the priestly role and died a leper.
2 Chronicles 26:16--21.

All throughout the Old Testament, the king was a civil ruler only ; the prophets and the priests spoke in behalf of God's
revealed word. (not their own philosophies)

That was all B.C. What about during the time of the earthly-life of Jesus?

ROME...33 A.D.

Pilate, the civil governor, told the religious-elitist crowd that they had their own law, and thus should judge accordingly.
Pilate recognized the truth that Jesus' case was not at all a civil matter.

But with enough propaganda (false heretical teaching) the masses were manipulated
to believe that Jesus and Caesar were contending for an earthly throne.
Jesus Himself vehemently denied this when He emphatically stated:
John 18: 36

When Jesus returns at His second coming, there will still be a separation of civil law and religious law. This is evidenced in
Zechariah Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.
Zerubbabel heads the civil law, and Joshua heads the religious congregation.

So there never has been--- or ever will be---- the legal mixing of civil and religious law.

When you read the false teachings of: Andrew Sandlin, Gary North,  Rousas Rushdoony,
David Chilton, Greg Bahnsen and the Chalcedon Foundation you will see how duplicitous are their writings.
They will tell you how invalid the criticisms of them are, while at the same time espousing the very application of that criticism leveled against them.
Devious word-smiths.....
Jesus said "Take heed that no man deceive you."
Matthew 24:4

Make no mistake about it. These men seek a religious kingdom on earth. A kingdom backed by political and governmental consequences. They believe in (and I quote)
"a world-conquering Christianity"
World Conquest
http://www.serve.com/thibodep/cr/worldcnq.htm by George Grant

This repeats again the error in history of the "Divine Right of Kings", the Renaissance, the Holy Roman Empire etc. etc. etc.
Man has always wanted to legislate with the force of God. That is sacrilege.

Our American politics is tainted with these beliefs. President John Kennedy wanted to turn public-servants (government officials)
into the publically-served:
"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country".

Ronald Reagan and the Republican revolution didn't want to wait for Jesus' Kingdom:
"If not us, who ?
If not now, when?" --Ronald Reagan

These are subtle hints that man has it in his power to change the world. Unfortunately the best plans laid by man end in death.
"There is a way which seemth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death"
Proverbs 14:12
Proverbs 16:25.

KINGDOM NOW---mixing Church and State

Commentary, this editor::

Some people are looking for Jesus to return to earth and for Jesus to establish His kingdom of righteousness upon the earth.

Others use the return of Jesus Christ as a call to save the world before He comes
(which renders Jesus useless, and makes "hero-saviors" out of the mis-guided.)
These mis-guided utopians want to bring in their own kingdom and play starring-roles.
Theirs is a social-political-governmental "gospel"
which is antichrist, [disguised as for-Christ ] and
it is anti-Biblical. [ laced with twisted scripture ]

Please see 2 Corinthians 11:4 and 13--15 ; and Galatians 1: 6-9

"If he preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached,
or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received,
or another Gospel, which ye have not accepted....such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. "

"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel;
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again,
If any man preach any other gospel
unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
