Hope To The End .................. back to Revelation ..................The New Jerusalem

The SAINTS
1. Where the Saints are at the Rapture: with the Lord in the air ;
2. During the Millennium: with the Lord on this earth ,
3. For all eternity: with the Lord in the New Jerusalem ( new heaven and new earth )

1. At the Rapture:
It tells us in John 14: 2, 3  that Jesus is going to prepare a place for us. In that context, it also tells us that He will personally come and receive us unto Himself.
We all apply that to the time of the Rapture and it coincides with the verse
"..to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord"  1 Thessalonians 4: 17

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
But we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him " 1 John 3: 2
We will have glorified bodies that can enter the heavenlies.

There are three heavens : the earth's atmosphere ( where we live now ) and where Satan is prince ( Ephesians 2:1 )
The middle heaven : "clouds",
Hebrews 12:1; Paradise 2 Corinthians 12: 4
The third heaven : beyond our universes...un-findable by man ....
2 Corinthians 12:2 ; Isaiah 14:14

The Hubble telescope reveals to us that there are many vast universes out there in the heavens ( "olam" ..from vanishing point to vanishing point) . God could have a special place provided for us somewhere in the heavenlies, while we are waiting to return with Him to earth at His Second Coming.
"And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean." Rev. 19:14

2.
We will return with Jesus at His Second Coming ( at the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the Great Tribulation); Revelation 19: 14 and also in
Jude 14 and 15.

As for this earth, it will continue on after Armageddon, as it tells us in
Zechariah 14: 3--11 and
in
Daniel 8: 9-14

Those who were beheaded during the Great Tribulation ( martyrs) will reign with Our Lord as kings and priests for 1,000 years here on this earth.
Rev. 20:4 . The Body of Christ will also be priests and reign with Jesus.

3.
" Behold, I will make all things new" Rev. 21: 1--5.
After the 1,000 years are over, God will remove this heaven ( atmosphere) and this earth.
They will "wax old as a garment"
Hebrews 1:11, and  be destroyed 2 Peter 3:10 )

Then there will be " a new heaven and a new earth ". Not this one transformed, but a complete new creation.... a new heaven and a new earth.

The Holy City, New Jerusalem

"And I John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem,  coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a Bride adorned for her husband." Rev. 21:2
The residence of the Bride ( First-Trusters Ephesians 1:12) will be within the New Jerusalem.

"And He carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain
( "mountain" usually means "government" in prophetic Scripture)
and showed me that Great City, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God."
Rev. 21: 10

" And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. " Rev. 21:3. This is a mystery. This is God as "Abba" Father. Romans 8:15
( "I and My Father are one"...  John 10: 30)

Thus we see the Bride of Jesus Christ teleporting from the Heavenly Jerusalem to the new earth in eternity.

It is our understanding that all those who have risen in righteousness (called The Resurrection of the Just)   John 11:24 ; Daniel 12:2; Acts 24:15 ) will reside in the New Heaven.

And that the Bride of Jesus -- a distinct group of those raised,
Psalm 45 -- will reside in the New Jerusalem, the place of prime residence for Our Lord. Our Lord is still omnipresent, able to be in all places, by the power of the Holy Spirit .

"Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father"
1 Corinthians 15:24
...and when all things shall be subdued unto Him, then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him ( the Father) that put all things under Him (
Psalm 2) that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15: 28.

It is our understanding that there will be natural people on the New Earth. Those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life may enter the Holy City.

There are passages referring to sinners who cannot enter the New Jerusalem. Those passages are a mystery. Perhaps the natural people will be living normal lives and yet also have to make a commitment to believe on Jesus as Lord and Savior and Redeemer from their sins.

All those who were judged and condemned previously during this life time, have no part in the New Heaven, the New Earth or the New Jerusalem. At least that is how we see it.

There will be leaves of healing for the nations. While it may be true that nature has medicinal purposes, we believe that the spiritual emphasis here is the healing by the word of God ( Scripture)
---which shall never pass away,
Matthew 24:35 ---
This is symbolized in
Ezekiel 47: 1--12  and  in the pure River of the Water of Life, and by the Tree of Life, both found in Rev. 22 : 1, 2. But symbolism aside, their will most likely be natural people needing healing on the New Earth.

We believe that the Righteous Saints--though not the Bride --will reside in heaven in their glorified bodies
teleporting between heaven and the New Earth, also being able to enter the New Jerusalem for specific purposes. Since God is everywhere, they will always be with God.

To belong to the Bride of Christ is a special privilege...not just for now, but for all eternity.
Ephesians 1:12.

In Eternity, we will dwell with God and the Lamb in the New Jerusalem.

"Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God !
How unsearchable are His judgements, and His ways past finding out !
Romans 11:33

Much of this remains a mystery.
The Holy Ghost will reveal more of this to all of us if we search diligently :
"If with all your heart you truly seek Me, ye shall ever surely find Me." Jeremiah 29:13
