Hope To The End ........POEMS ..................................Two Poems below :

The Hidden Line of No Return

There is a time, we know not when,
A point we know not where,
That marks the destiny of men
To glory or despair.

There is a line by us unseen,
That crosses every path;
The hidden boundary between
God's patience and His wrath.

How long may we go on in sin?
How long will God forbear?
Where does hope end, and where begin
The confines of despair?

An answer from the skies is sent;
"Ye that from God depart,
While it is called today, repent,
And harden not your heart."

by J. Addison Alexander

And Then We Die

Hebrews 4:7 "...Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts."
We live.
We breathe and smile,

work and weep and sleep,

Feel and think and
And then we die.
And then what?
Then we have a bended-knee appointment

with our Creator,
As a stern Judge or merciful Savior.

Will He know us?
Ah, then nothing else matters!
We will go with Him

to continue thinking and feeling and living;
 worshipping and fellowshipping;
joyfully bowing before His sacred head and
wounded hands.

But if Jesus gazes sadly at us and says,
"I know you not"?
Then nothing else matters:

not our reputation or bank account,
not our philanthropy or philosophy
or dusty trophies.
We will continue thinking and feeling

and suffering,
Apart from Jesus, forever.
Apart from everything good and lovely

and pure and honest.
Alone among billions.
Alone with our endless regrets.

Philippians 2:10-- " That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;"
Acts 17:31-- " Because He ( Almighty God ) hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness
by [that] Man ( the God-Man Jesus ) whom He hath ordained;
[whereof] He hath given assurance unto all [men], in that He ( the Father ) hath raised Him ( Jesus ) from the dead."
