SECOND THESSALONIANS Chapter Two , as we see it ...
emphasis this Editor.

verse 1, 2--" Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto Him "
( Ed. This letter refers to the timing of our Rapture )
"That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the Day of Christ is at hand."

Ed: " Day of Christ "
( term used here found ONLY  in the Authorized King James Bible, which has unmatchable credibility )
The "Day of Christ" means The Day of our Redemption, our Rapture.
The Holy Spirit is telling us here, through the Apostle Paul, that the Rapture cannot happen just at any time.
Two conditions must be met first .....

v. 3-- "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,
1. except there come a falling away first ( global apostasy, forsaking the Biblical-Jesus as God and only Savior )
2. and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
Ed : Note that the 'man of sin' is not called the "Antichrist", or "Beast" yet; he has not assumed a leadership role here as of yet.
We the Church are still here when this happens.

v.4-- "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped"
Ed: We see the man of sin opposing:
1. Israel
2. Almighty God
3. Nuclear-milita
rism

Most likely the man of sin will oppose Israel's strike on Iran's nuclear plant ( releasing radiation ) and will wage a campaign of anti-nuclear militarism around the world.
But more importantly, the man of sin will oppose Religion and God as the cause of all wars and will replace himself as
the answer- man to our world problems.         http://hopetotheend.com/plan.html
Instead, he will promote a global common cause -- like a religion, through the false prophet-- and this will eventually be adopted by the masses.

"So that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God showing himself that he is God."
It is our belief that this blasphemous self-exaltation by the man of sin is why the first angel in Rev. 14: 6, 7 tells us to
"Fear God and give glory to Him ...worship Him." And since this same angel preaches the Gospel to all nations, most likely our Bibles will be banned at this time of global apostasy. (King James (KJV) Bibles will be banned, especially ).

Ed: We do not think that the Great Tribulation Temple has to be rebuilt in order for the man of sin to do this. He could do this within the digging area of the Second Temple, as archeologists identify the early Temple interior. If among their findings is the Ark of the Covenant-- and if the man of sin sits on it as God --- then that would fulfill verse 4 of 2 Thessalonians 2.

In order for the man of sin to "show" himself as God, he has to do a demonstrative act, like sitting on the lid of the mercy-seat... the Ark of the Covenant. This will be perceived by observant Jews as utter blasphemy.
This of course could happen at any time.

v.5-- "Remember you not that when I was yet with you, I told you these things.? "
v.6-- And now you know what witholdeth ( Ed: those two events ---- global apostasy and the ultimate blasphemy ----withhold our going in the Rapture )
that he ( the man of sin ) might be revealed in his time."

v.7-- " For the mystery of iniquity ( Ed: the mystery of God allowing evil to happen ) doth already work; only He who now lets ( God who now allows evil to exist ) will let
( God will continue to allow evil to happen ) until he ( Satan) be taken out of the way."-- 2 Thessalonians 2

Satan will be taken out of the way at Revelation 20:1-3 --- after Armageddon and the beginning of the Millennium.

Ed: We believe that 2 Thessalonians 2 , verses 3 through 7 pertain to the First Beast of Revelation 13. And we believe that
2 Thessalonians verses 8 and 9 pertain to the Second Beast of Revelation 13, the False Prophet
.
v.8, 9-- "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, ( Ed:the False Prophet ) whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming." Rev. 19: 15, 20, 21
"Even him, ( the False Prophet ) whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders."

v. 10--12 Ed: It is our belief that the strong delusion coming upon those who do not love the truth will be the New Age concept of human beings having a spark of the divine within themselves--that we are gods in and of ourselves-- and that the Antichrist is to be worshipped as God himself.
Another strong DELUSION is that the antichrist Beast actually died and rose again. We believe that is a lying wonder manufactured by special effects.

Only the KJV Bible uses the correct term "Day of Christ" ( our Rapture ) in
 2 Thessalonians 2: 2.
All other Bibles erroneously use the term "Day of the Lord" in that verse , which refers to the time of the Great Tribulation, and not specifically to the day of our Rapture.
Because of  that highly popular error, it places the Rapture ahead of the revealing of the man of sin ... a very wishful interpretation. To repeat what the KJV Bible states, we cannot go in the Rapture until first the man of sin is revealed.

1. Some say that the Holy Spirit is "the restrainer" ( a paraphrased word made up by modern-day translators; That word is not in the KJV Bible).

2. Modern-day heresy claims that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the way during the great tribulation. Both of those statements are hugely false. To ever say that the Holy Spirit is taken away from us is a doctrine of demons.

CORRECTING ERROR

The 2nd Chapter of 2 Thessalonians has been interpreted erroneously for too long.
Those in error have been telling us that the "he" that is taken out of the way is the Holy Ghost.
How anyone could ever believe that is beyond comprehension.
The Holy Ghost will be doing His finest work during the Great Tribulation....bringing
salvation, comforting, strengthening, enlightening those individuals who call upon the name of the Lord.
He will be giving miraculous courage to those facing martyrdom.

Evil has not been restrained. "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse , deceiving , and being deceived" , says 2 Timothy 3: 13
Please see: Our Blessed Hope  http://hopetotheend.com/hope.html
So-called "experts" and others have been making-up words ( heretical concepts ) in the Bible that are not in the KJV (
King James Authorized Version )
This passage has been erroneously interpreted because when people leave-off reading the Authorized KJV Bible, they encounter PRECONCEIVED words .... such as "restrainer".
The person who made-up the word "restrainer" in place of "what witholdeth" transferred a term about an object ... to something meaning a person or persons ( either Holy Ghost or the Church). But "what withholdeth" refers to a set of
two circumstances: the sequence of events Paul just got finished mentioning : global apostasy and sitting blasphemously as God.

What withholds the rapture is the appearance of the man of sin in the temple as "God".
And what precedes that blasphemous and sacrilegious event is the awful falling away from Scriptural truth...which is the Apostasy.

1. Meaning of " falling away " = Abandoning the Biblical expectation of the true Messiah, Jesus.

2. And instead, looking for an answer-man who has political finesse....
The man of sin sitting in the Temple as "God", who later on will be the "beast" ( global leader ) of Revelation 13.

NOW you know what witholdth. You also now can see how highly subjective the switching of the word "restrainer" is, compared with the original "what witholdeth". It is a shame that persons have rewritten the exact words of Scripture and replaced those Holy Spirit  inspired words with their own spin on those words ... and that sheeple follow along. God sternly warns in Revelation 22:18, 19 not to change the words and concepts in the message first delivered to John the Revelator on the Isle of Patmos, over 2,000 years ago.
We ought to be true Bereans and search the original KJV Scriptures carefully.

The man of sin arises in a climate of no fear of the Living God....in a climate of Biblical illiteracy; or worse yet, the perversion and twisting of the Word of God, thus causing delusions because "they loved not the truth". 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.

Holy Spirit is still here AFTER the Rapture

We believe that there will be multitudes of people confessing true and genuine repentance during the Great Tribulation.

Psalm 51 is an x-ray of David's repentant heart. In the depths of his genuine sorrow over
sin, David pleads "Do not take thy Holy Spirit from me". God would never do that to the truly contrite person.
God would take His Spirit from the unrepentant sinner hardened in sin.( Please see Ezekiel 33 and also http://hopetotheend.com/love.html ). But that would be the only reason. 1 John 5:16.

Jesus Himself tells the saints during the Great Tribulation period that He will come in and sup with them personally. Revelation 3:20 . If Jesus COMES IN to us, He is abiding with us. His SPIRIT then is WITHIN us. The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Jesus Christ as well as the third Person of the Trinity.

If any minister tells you that the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way at the time of the rapture, then that person is a false teacher . They are in heretical error , and they are NOT to be listened to.
"Behold, I AM with you alway, even unto the end of the world."( the end of this age ). Matthew 28:20

WHY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NEVER TAKEN AWAY DURING ANY TIME PERIOD

1. The Holy Spirit is God, and God can never be taken away from Dispensations (Time-periods).
The Holy Spirit is very active during the Great Tribulation.
The Holy Spirit is working miracles through the 2 witnesses ( 1 Corinthians 12:4 and Rev. 11)

2. The Holy Spirit is helping the 144,000 Jews to evangelize the whole world.
No one can say "Jesus is the Lord" ( 1 Corinthians 12:3 ) without the Holy Spirit; and multitudes will be saying "Jesus is the Lord".

3. The Holy Spirit births Salvation to the "multitude which no man can number" (Rev. 7:9-17) during
the Great Tribulation and they arrive safely in heaven. This can happen only by the power of the Holy Spirit.
They MUST be born of water (tears of repentance) and by the Holy Spirit who alone can regenerate one's heart.

Philosophy, theology, and religion can not regenerate the heart.
Only the Holy Spirit, contacting and regenerating our spirit and heart, can THEN turn our thoughts like the streams of a river,
to submit to the Living Word. Psalm 139:23

Salvation is not a mental act. It is a turning of the heart. The Holy Spirit has the code to our hearts that unlocks them, if we but ask. Rev. 2:23. "I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts". Let us hear what THE SPIRIT is saying to the Church.
"If with ALL your heart ye truly seek Me, ye shall ever surely find Me, thus saith our God" -- Jeremiah 29:13

4. Who is the One sheltering, nourishing and maintaining the Remnant in the wilderness?
God, the 3 in 1, which includes the Holy Spirit.
"My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6).
The Holy Spirit is the fount of wisdom and grace and especially of truth.
The insights He gives to those who are left behind will help to maintain them in the wilderness. He it is that enlightens our way.
He is our Navigator and leads us into all truth. John 16:7-14 .  He is the Spirit of Truth.

5. We cannot survive without the Holy Spirit, whether we realize this or not.
If the Holy Spirit were taken from us (as some interpreters would have us believe)
then all life would vanish upon earth.
Without the Holy Spirit here with us, all life would end. The Holy Spirit is the principle of Life.

"If He (God) set His heart upon man, if He gather unto Himself His Spirit and His
breath; all flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto the dust." Job 34: 14, 15

6. God, the 3 in 1, is omni-present, which means that He is in all places at the same time.
He can't be up in heaven and not down here. Or down here and not in heaven.
The 3 in 1 is omni-present. God is in heaven and on earth at the same time.
Jesus' physical body is in heaven; His Spirit is in heaven and on earth both. Jesus can
manifest Himself at any time here on earth (called a theophany... as in Melchizedek)

4 Signs BEFORE the Rapture and
THE DAY OF CHRIST

Many have mentioned that setting rapture dates has had a negative effect since many have given up looking for the Rapture because too many dates have come and gone. It's like crying "Wolf" too many times ( old tale). People become weary and give up looking.

Jesus gave us four major signs to look for in order to keep us from giving up. (KJV sources)

1. " a falling away"..... 2 Thessalonians 2:3
from Biblical Faith, God etc. The masses are no longer looking for a spiritual Savior / Redeemer. The general population is looking for a political "messiah" who can promise peace and prosperity.

2. "and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. "
      2 Thess. 2:4 ---
a  "who opposeth" ... ( God, Israel and nuclear militarism )
      b. "and exalteth himself above all that is called God"

(including Mohammed, Jesus, Budda, Hari Krisna etc.)
"or that is worshipped"

"So that he AS God, SITTETH in the Temple of God,
SHOWING himself that he IS God."

The only way a person can demonstrate a Godly act by SITTING is to SIT on a newly discovered Ark of the Covenant - Mercy Seat.

Until we see that person manifesting Deity on our TVs and Internet screens by SITTING on the Mercy Seat - Ark of the Covenant,
until then, we cannot predict an immanent Rapture/ Translation/ Natzal.

And Jeremiah 3:16 tells us that the Ark of the Covenant no longer has any relevant meaning, and to disregard it completely.

If Bible Commentators would have explained it as clearly as it is written, we would not have people weary of waiting.

Verse 2 of 2 Thess. 2 has been mis-paraphrased in the newer modern Bibles. They have substituted "Day of Christ" ( the day of the Rapture) for "the Day of the Lord" ( judgment for those left behind).
That day could possibly be one and the same one. ( 2 Thess. 1: 1-9 ).

For those who are looking for the Day of Christ ( Rapture ) he will come
. Hebrews  11:6

For those not looking nor believing they will be left behind; and for them it is the "Day of the Lord " ( Judgment).
Thus the huge misinterpretation.

# 3
Joel Chapter 3:14 15 and    ACTS 2:16--21
  ..........

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood
BEFORE that great and notable day of the Lord come"
.

I have yet to see an absolutely defining  brilliant blood-red moon -- as red as scarlet and crimson.

# 4---   1 Thessalonians 5:3

" For when they shall say "Peace and Safety"
(following the Psalm 83 war ? )

"then sudden destruction cometh upon them"
(Magog War of Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 ? ...World War 3  )

Being patient ( Rev. 3:10 ) for those 4 signs would keep us all on the same page.

"God is not the author of confusion"

IN CONCLUSION

2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 is misunderstood even in this late hour.
Some are telling us that the rapture cannot take place until the" falling away" ... and then they say that the "falling away" means "rapture" ( as departure)
What they're actually saying then is that
"the rapture cannot take place until the rapture takes place." (enlightening?)

Some say that the Holy Ghost is the "restrainer" (which is NOT a KJV- Authorized term) and they say that as long as the church is in the world, we are restraining evil in this world. Not so.
That contradicts the fact that evil is waxing worse and worse in these Last Days.  2 Timothy 3:13

The KJV uses the term "And now you know what WITHOLDETH (not 'restrains')
that he (antichrist) might be revealed in his time." 2 Thessalonians 2: 6.

Paul is stating here that now we know why the man of sin hasn't arisen yet, because the official global apostasy hasn't taken place yet. When that definite apostasy has taken place, then the man of sin can arise. It will be signed, sealed and delivered when Israel puts their trust in a foreign power rather than in the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

REALITY CHECK

Let's take a look around us. Do you think our world is better today than it was 70 years ago?
We are not restraining evil, nor did the Bible ever say we would. The Bible says that evil will get so bad, Christians will be persecuted all the day long, (Romans 8:36)
just as they are right now in the Mideast and in China, the Sudan, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Nigeria, all of Africa, the Muslim-dominated nations practicing Sharia Law, and in Malaysia, Kenya etc. etc. etc. and elsewhere.
(This is not the Great Tribulation yet ). Peducah, Littleton and Forth Worth and September 11, 2001 all helped us to see reality. Evil is not being restrained. It is waxing worse. There is no "revival"
( or great awakening) coming . Better to count on the Persecution of Christians on a grand scale coming.

Jesus prayed to keep us from the evil (John 17:15 ) and our prayers truly do change things. Yet evil itself will wax worse and worse, just as foretold.
The word "Restrainer" ( in the new incorrect translations) actually deceives. The correct and meaningful term of "witholdeth" (Authorized KJV) explains the actual situation today.

Two things will happen before our translation, but thanks be to God, we will be raptured before the worst comes.
"For yet a little while and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry." Hebrews 10:37.

Let's keep the correct version of the Blessed Hope alive in our hearts until he comes.
